Last Friday in Murcia, the president of CLH Group, José Luis López de Silanes, and the President of the Region of Murcia, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, handed the I INFO-CLH Entrepreneur of the Year Award, with the aim of recognizing the best three entrepreneurial projects in the region of Murcia and contribute to its development and consolidation.
The first prize went to the IURBAN.ES project, an initiative to make cities more intelligent and connected by installing interactive street furniture that can offer multiple points of wifi connection and charging devices.
The evaluation committee also granted the second prize to PERANOID S.L a company that has developed a revolutionary technology to listen to films in original version via mobile phone.
The third prize went to ELORA DESIGN, S.L., a company dedicated to designing and creating applications for mobile terminals that has begun marketing LinkinCards, a tool that allows networking through digital business cards installed on your mobile phone or Tablet.
The three winning projects were selected from among the winners of the Entrepreneur of the Month Awards, awarded by the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia (INFO), during the twelve months of last year.
Entrepreneurship Support Policy
The CLH Group and INFO signed a partnership agreement in late 2015, which has been extended to sponsor a new edition of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2016.
This collaboration is part of CLH Group´s Entrepreneurship Support Policy, which aims to contribute to the development of innovative projects and foster a new entrepreneurial spirit. This policy applies nationwide, especially in municipalities where the company is present.
Within this policy, CLH has signed agreements with different institutions to encourage entrepreneurship such as the Campus Iberus, an organization that comprises leading universities of the Ebro Valley; Innovation, Financing and Internationalization Agency of Castilla La Mancha (ADE); the City of San Fernando de Henares and Carlos III University of Madrid.
These and other actions have contributed to grant the CLH Group the label » Entity attached to the Entrepreneurship and Young Employment Strategy 2013-2016 «, issued by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.
